Robert Wesley Pearson

Robert recieved a BFA in Printmaking from the University of Iowa in 2008. He lives and works in downtown Sacramento as a barista at Chocolate Fish Coffee. He plans on attending graduate school in the near future to persue an MFA in either art or printmaking. Working from the studio in his home he creates; paintings, drawings, works on paper, t-shirts, comics, all involving print techniques. Robert has participated in several Second Saturdays since arriving from Iowa in the fall of 2008. "I like to think of my work as social commentary...without being too serious. I like my work to make a person think and laugh. Printmaking skills are essential to my process, weather I am printing or not."
